Miss Cami
Preschool Facilitator

Hello, my name is Cami.  I have always had a passion for children and look forward to the opportunity to work with the whole family. I believe in the philosophy that the parent is the child's first teacher and that an involved parent will help grow a successful learner.
I studied at Lewis Clark State College in Lewiston, ID. I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I have worked with the Early Childhood Program (Head Start) and in professional daycare facilities.
Along with my professional schooling, I am married and have three wonderful children, two boys 14 and 11 years old and one daughter 7, that provide me with much "real life" child development experience.  I will work to make this new chapter in our lives a successful transition for everyone.
I am thrilled to be a part of the special group of children, parents and staff. I look forward to growing a relationship with each of you!  Thank you for this opportunity to introduce myself. See you at Co-op!

Miss Emily
Toddler and Pre-K Facilitator

My name is Miss Emily, and I am so excited to teach Toddler Day and Pre-K this year! I am originally from Montana, and I moved to Spokane to attend Gonzaga University. I graduated from GU with a degree in Special Education, and taught for 7 years in an elementary Behavior Intervention classroom.

I decided to stay at home full time after the birth of our twins Zach and Izzy (12 yrs.) My husband, Warren, and I and have since added two more to our clan, Maddy (8) and Cal (3). We also have a dog, Leo, and a new puppy, Tillie. There is never a dull moment at our house!

My family has attended NW Parent Co-Op for the past three years. I love the co-op preschool model. Parental involvement is so important to early development, and we have so much to learn from each other. There is such a wealth of creative, wise, talented, and supportive families among us. My contribution, as a facilitator, includes a background in early childhood development, experience implementing play-based instruction, and an enthusiasm for integrating music and movement into curriculum. I feel so blessed to join such a strong team of facilitators and I look forward to sharing this year with you!
